Why does moving give you more energy?

Because you don’t waste your energy day after day by going through the day with the “gas pedal pressed,” when you can achieve the same performance with much less energy. Admittedly, your “power” doesn’t cost money directly (not counting the financial expense of food), but managing your energy better has the advantage that you don’t collapse exhausted into a chair in the evening, but still have enough momentum to enjoy your free time.

This way, you have plenty of energy available, which you can use much better than in painful muscle tension.
